Anyone running a high output Stator in their Gen-II - pashnit - 09-02-2012 Ricks Motorsports makes one at 500 watt for $160US. Wondering if anyone has modded the Stator to the high output one. More lights and electronic gizmos I keep adding... keep wondering if the peace of mind would make it worth it. RE: Anyone running a high output Stator in their Gen-II - Greeny_SA - 09-02-2012 I find my stock one runs my Gloves /vest/GPS/phone ,just fine, so far but have thought about upgrading it .Thanks for the Info . Tony - I love your streetfighters! When I went shopping for the '08, seriously considered tossing the idea and going with the B-King instead and stripping it down to the core, throw some saddlebags on the back and ride! If I ever get around to a 3rd bike in the garage, it would be a naked streetfighter type- polar opposite of the Busa! RE: Anyone running a high output Stator in their Gen-II - Tony Nitrous - 10-02-2012 Naked Busa is a LOT of fun. B-King is a much better designed and built bike than my shed effort, but the B-Kings lack of leg room, 16 ltr tank and useless pillion seat p*ss me off sometimes. A naked Busa is shorter and lighter than a B-King as well.. Perhaps I just need to build a better one. Still want a faired Gen2 though ! RE: Anyone running a high output Stator in their Gen-II - Tyronm - 11-02-2012 Tim, Did you have any issues with the one on your GEN I ? Prety sure you were running alot on that bike too, I thinks its a useless expenses unless the stocky starts giving issues mate. RE: Anyone running a high output Stator in their Gen-II - Greeny_SA - 30-04-2012 I read somewhere that the stocky puts out 400 watts anyway,Don't know if it's true though . Suzuki seem to make some info hard to find . |
