Adding Throttlemeisters to your Hayabusa - pashnit - 18-01-2012

Hey gang, wanted to highlight a product that I'm a big fan of, these are the Throttlemeisters which replace your bar ends on your Hayabusa.

Nearly ten years ago when I started the Pashnit Touring Co, went looking for a throttle lock that was top quality and built to last. Had the cheapy plastic thumb locks on my previous bikes, but after several hours with the dremel, they just don't agree with the Mighty Busa.

Part Numbers are listed here:

You've got several options like polished, milled, black... plus two sizes if you want to cut down on the vibration. I've got the standard, and they work just fine for me. Heavy models are very popular.

We charge just $10 in postage to ship to AU, and they ship out the next day. The set I have I'm pushing nearly 10 years of use, and they still work fine. Plus if you sell your bike. keep 'em and put them on the next motorcycle! When I got the '08, I just transferred them over.

Some more pics of them installed on the Busa. These are the standard Black Milled models:

Love em Tim, had one for year's (from You ) ,I never liked the ,bend the fast idle option ,to hard to disengage in an emergency . Throttle meister's rule .

RE: Adding Throttlemeisters to your Hayabusa - BLACKZOOK - 18-01-2012

Yup I have them on the turbo gen 1 and on the 1441 gen 2.

Good gear - they give you the option of relaxing the right hand on long rides.

Tyron, I don't see why not, if you look closely at the top pic, they are solid raw billet. So if you talk to your shop that's doing the work, I would ask.

The black color is flat black that they give a bit of texture to it, which you can see also in the close-up pic on the busa.

Tim,

When annodizing there can't be any other type of metal or plastic etc... It just melts in the process.
Do you still thinmk its possible?

Pashnit, I have fitted a comfort kit to my gen2 with hollow bars.
Have you a set to suit this setup?
Chris

I'll ask Chris. It's worth knowing. I know that Throttlemeister does have part numbers for all the Heli-Bar kits. Will see if they are familiar with these kits.
