You will open a can of worms to start with until you get your head around it & then you will find they keep updating the program & more to learn but its all good Pi_thumbsup
Maj is the Guru down you way, but ask away anyway Pi_thumbsup

Use the program a little to get familiar before trying to flash
watch the instruction vids on Gregs website to be sure you set up correctly
And look carefully at any wires you install if there not pushed in deep enough (look from the other side) you will get an intermittant connection or no connection at all

One thing worth remmebering is to save the file you are modifed before flashing (for reference or comparison later) with some meningful name as you will not be able to recover the loaded files from the ECU.

Cheers and good luck. Biker
Ps. When you develop a new 220HP fuel/ignition maps you must share it with us Very Happy

Actually on the gen 2 stuff you can download the ecu, so if you forget to save it first and close without saving all is not lost
also handy if you make so many changes and loose track of the files names
Gen 1 if you loose track of it , it its gone, start again

RE: ecu progaming - Skidmarx - 14-01-2012

do we keep EE maps stored on the forum somewere?? when i was fiddling with powercomander on the R1 they used to have a database full of maps, wich made it very easy to find a good base file

No, because "jamdonut" is still trying to work out the difference between a fuel pump & a fuel filterConfused
