ECU Pinup - Shifu - 01-01-2012
I finally got my new Gixxer in the garage and started dismantling it
Got rid of that ECV but need to disable the input in the ECU to get rid of the F1 light. It is pin 30 but I have no diagram hence my question is whether the pinup of gixxer ECU is the same as Busa's? Any suggestions will be appreciated. Cheers

What model gix? if its 07 +
Could give you the contact details of someone in your state who can flash the gix to turn off the warning if you wanted
Otherwise i have the diagrams here for 07+ and 05-06

Shifu, you can download pdf's of all the GSXR service manuals here http://servicemanualsgsxr.com/ if that's any help to you.

Maj, it is 08. A diagram would be very appreciated. I am planing to send it to Peter (Fasterfaster) later on for flashing. For now I just need to do a bit of riding to get some k's on it (it has 342 km on the clock!) while waiting for bits to arrive. Cheers.

rh plug , top row looking at the connector from the loom side 5th from right
listed on my diagram as "normally gnd, otherwise EXVA disable"
only have a hard copy ,if you pm me your email or fax i'll send a copy .
I have been swapping info with a guy in SA on gix flashing, he is more into the 600s , circuit racing stuff, no where near Petes experiance but could turn off the warning light
