I didn't read the whole thing due to it being set out in such crap way...the little I did read seemed to make sense...why after working hard should I or anyone be expected to subsidise anyone who is too bloody lazy to work at all? Same for those who come to this country and hold their hands out for the great socialist freeby.
Before anyone here flames me for this just take a minute to consider Italy, Spain, and Greece...and possibly France too...these once great nations brought to their knees financialy by consecutive stupid greedy leaders who, when not ripping the general public off to the tune of millions and jumping on every gravy train they can find, bow to the bleating of a few who cannot get it into their thick heads that there is only so much to go round and those that earned it should be their priority. Also what is the point of driving a thriving economy to the brink of destitution in order to help everyone that needs it?...you end up helping no one!
My final rant??? Colin Barnett blithely stating it cost West Australians over 69 million to host the CHOGM farce...this a few weeks ago from telling us all to take it up with the federal government when our power bills go up a further 15% due to the carbon tax...this on top of the 37% he raised it already. what a crock!

It is easy to teach values and respect by simply leading from example. Teach them to form their own opinions from facts and their own experiences and not get sucked in by scare mongering bigots who thrive by interpreting information to suite their ego.

What you are saying here is very true, but writing or reading about it is just a waste of time and aggrevation to those who one day will learn to know better. Whatever happens is the fault and making of our own, as we have voted these bastards in and silently (and almost ashamed) tolerating this "governing". Nothing will change untill all these issues become so important, not just to the few, but to the majority, that they will stop caring about anything else. In 1980 in Poland we have reached such a state of mind. Under the State of Emergency laws it was illegal (15-25 years inprisonment) to even meet your mate on the street. But that did not stop anyone. We were there with rocks and bottles against bullets and tanks. Many died on these streets, but there was no way anyone could stop it. I ended up in prison, branded as terrorist, with 6 death penalty verdicts from the Military Court. But that did not matter as price of freedom is blood. History teaches that always was and I bet it always will be. Australia is the greatest country in the world but it's nation at large is too immature to understand and see many things that are natural and obvious for people who understand what feedom really means and what it takes to defend it, nor it has a tradition of doing it.
So nothing will change here untill, very likely somwhere else, people will say "we had it and it is time for change".
In the mean time, do not get stressed over it, get on your busa and enjoy it while you can

Sadly it is true Shifu...it is and never will likely get as bad as it was in Poland so the general public...(read sheep)... will put up with these 'minor' irritations for a quiet life.
