Turbo exhausts - bbluesilver - 13-11-2011

Hi, Just a question regarding the exhausts.

For a bike ridden every day on the street, would you go with the dump pipe or a full system?

I currently have an 2010 model all stock, no mods apart from yoshi twin R44 pipes and a flashed ecu.

How loud are the dump pipes?
I have been told a turbo dose baffle the noise a little, are they louder than yoshi pipes without the baffles?

Just trying to find out if i do go with a turbo if i should go with a full exhaust system or just the dump pipe.

Cheers.

Noise wise probably equal to the loudest 4 into 1 available (maybe a little quieter) the biggest against running without it is, without the physical pipe being obvious it attracts Police like flies to shit.

I think a dump wont pass rego...

But if anyone can confirm, that will be gr8>>>>

Would love to put a little dump on my turbo

I prefer the full exhaust , muffler has to be custom for the turbo or it will choke the turbo , 65-70mm is fine, you would be surprised just how difficult it is to get these made
most of mine have been modified rs3's , and i make the pipe from the turbo out,
RCC do a nice mid length one now too, finishes just under the foot peg

Will look into the full exhaust system.
Appreciated.

I've always wondered how one of these Metalcats would go bolted straight on. They have a bacon deflector stamp attached.
