I couldn't find a cafe to park outside of - BikerBoy - 30-10-2011 Sorry guys, you'll have to settle for some more boring pics of my Busa on the track yesterday. RE: I couldn't find a cafe to park outside of - BLACKZOOK - 30-10-2011 Great shots mate well done! RE: I couldn't find a cafe to park outside of - Troopmaster - 30-10-2011 great stuff BikerBoy, howz the Brocks System sound out there? RE: I couldn't find a cafe to park outside of - Axe - 30-10-2011 Very nice man.. looks like it was a ripper of a day! RE: I couldn't find a cafe to park outside of - BikerBoy - 30-10-2011 Cheers guys. It was as a great day. It was a wet track first thing in the morning but it dried up really fast at about 9:30am and was sunny for the rest of the day. Bug splattter was 110% yesterday!!! From about 11am-2pm I got absolutely coated in little critters and one guy copped a seagul down the straight. Lots of yellow and red flags out during the day too. Quite a few came off and I'm guessing the wind played a big part in that as it was really fierce right though turns 6 to 9. Turn 8 was very scary at high speed with the wind!!! Not too sure how the Brocks system sounds on the track Troopmaster as my focus and attention doesn't really go there. Too busy trying not to crash. Thinking about it now though, I don't think I can actually hear any other bike around me on the track other than my Busa, so I'll just say "friggin Awesome!!". RE: I couldn't find a cafe to park outside of - bRoWnEyE - 31-10-2011 Very nice pics BikerBoy ![]() ![]() RE: I couldn't find a cafe to park outside of - bazman - 31-10-2011 Looks like ya had a great day out, Paul!! ![]() Top shots mate!! ![]() Pic #2 is my fave ![]() ![]() btw, was that the track snapper?!? or didja sneek a talented mate in there?!? ![]() ![]() RE: I couldn't find a cafe to park outside of - BikerBoy - 31-10-2011 The photographer is Stewart (SDPics). He does an awesome job!! The full high-res pics have so much detail that they even show up the loose threads in the stitching of my leathers. I have to agree Paul, Siberia is very high on the list, but I'd have to say my absolute fav. would be Lukey Heights. I lurve that ass clenching moment as you come over the peak kissing the pavement and then "FAAAARK" turn 10. Gotta get back real soon. I'm addicted!!!!!!!!! RE: I couldn't find a cafe to park outside of - Heidi1 - 31-10-2011 It is EASY to get addicted!!!! Blackzook and I are at PI on 14/15 November. If you live nearby, come down and say hi. We're not on the busas, but we have been! Last year I took my 04 and Bruce took the big bore. I love the busa on PI. RE: I couldn't find a cafe to park outside of - Shifu - 31-10-2011 Nice pics Paul. I was there the day before and would you believe I was also in a green group and with a number 10. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Our last session was wet as the rain came in about 4:30. I didn't go, as by then my rear tire was completely rooted (I barely passed the scrutieering in the morning as the wear markers were just touching the road) and I was very concerned about the traction. Would have been dejavu for him if ya did. I was checking out your pics on Sat night waiting for mine to get uploaded. Some good shots there. It was a bit weird seeing the black n red green 10 and "WTF, that's not me". Did you download any? post em up if you did. Hope you had as much fun as I did. I can't wait to get back. I only live an hour away, so no excuses for me. If it was Lou it would be really weird. I am planning to do two track days before doing the level 2 session. Will see if I can squizze it before Christmas. Its 10 hours drive for me but so worth it ![]() RE: I couldn't find a cafe to park outside of - DAVE01 - 01-11-2011 looks like a great day ![]() RE: I couldn't find a cafe to park outside of - Heidi1 - 01-11-2011 Couldn't help myself, this is my busa and I at PI last year. The busa is BRILLIANT on PI!! this year I'm taking the GSXR750, I strongly suspect I'm going to miss my bus.... ![]() RE: I couldn't find a cafe to park outside of - BikerBoy - 02-11-2011 (01-11-2011, 02:57pm)Heidi1 Wrote: Couldn't help myself, this is my busa and I at PI last year. I've spent a bit of $$$ to improve its handling which has been phenomenal on track (beter than expected) but at the same time I'm now saving hard for a dedicated trackie that I wouldn't be so concerned to bin it. Will prob get either a cbr or a gsxr and still undecided on a 600 or a 1000. |
