AS Standard sticker - Flying Finn - 16-09-2011

I received Shark helmet today from Germany, but of course it didn't have AS Sticker.
Now,do you know anyone, who is selling those stickers, since every helmet must have one here in OZ.
It's a pain...but I don't want to be pulled over by the boys in blue and get fined.
I got this helmet for a good price, but now I need that bloody stickerConfused
I know they do even stricter testing in Germany,so my helmet is definately up to scratch, but no stickerIcon_rolleyes
Thanks fellows for any help.
John.

If you look closely at the sticker it has VOID etched into it. When you try peel it off it becomes unusable. I had no idea until I tried it!

In 30 years of riding I've never had a Police check the sticker on my helmet Coolsmiley

RE: AS Standard sticker - RyanG - 16-09-2011

Never heard of anyone getting pinged for not having a sticker... Mate got a heap of them. I'll see if he has any spares

RE: AS Standard sticker - BEAU - 16-09-2011

I had a cop on wed look down at the rear of my helmut, what would the sneaky f*** be looking at??

RE: AS Standard sticker - Ward P - 16-09-2011

I used to buy only black helmets, and would pull every sticker off them. Never got busted. Never had a cop check out my helmet. But I suppose there is always a first, and if he's looking for something to ping you for . . . !! Police

+1 Pi_thumbsup....been there and (unsuccessfully) tried that!!! Frown

I guess if someone in the decal / sticker business was great at their craft, they could possibly "replicate" one to make it look very close to genuine!?! Undecided

Pretty much any meetup of HOG "riders" or Ulysses Club members will have someone who has those stickers.

John.
WTF John who could have guessed that you could buy something for half the price overseas - & IT DOESNT COMPLY WITH ADR's.

f***kers should have known you were in AUST!

You have obviously been ripped off so I suggest you ask for a full refund - return the helmet and buy one here that does comply.

All good mate!

All good mate
Well, this helmet was sold in Germany, and i know,Germans do test their helmets, before they can sell them.
As i mentioned,this helmet Shark RSR 2 Kinetic,it's a beauty.
I saw someone selling them on e-bay for $879
I got it $370 delivered.
I tried to remove the sticker fom my old helmet, bugger it didn't work.

RE: AS Standard sticker - RyanG - 16-09-2011

Razor blade under the sticker?? That would avoid peeling And separating the two layers??
