Good drag footage, two icons up against each other on the quarter mile. (Skyline has a little help with an aftermarket kit)

Nice find! Pretty awesome for a relatively stock busa! But man those skylines are quick!!!!!

I would have thought the busa would have thrashed it.

I agree, no matter what they bolt on to that car. Unrestricted busa with a correct tuninng should to over 320km/h (198 m/h) If it can get to over 160miles/hour in a 1/4 mile as proven by some of the racers here, it surely can get that 38 something miles/hour in the remaining 3/4 of it. As someone already said it needs a rider mod or the throttle got jammed..

"Yeah just a little, when I had a successful business with a lot of stress 15 years ago, I used to pick up the GTR skyline mags , turbo performance mags the UK , thinking this was going to be my new toy, they were winning /Bathurst in numbers before they were banned, I saw a lot of potential in them with heaps more to do. Some were claiming 1500hp and would hire out freeways to open them up in the UK. My missus at the time stopped me from getting one. To be honest, that and getting 850hp in my books is a little........

I still think the Busa with its good launch and full system should of got it though. then again, 850 hp in a Skyline.....

BRING ON THE GENERATION THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE........

Unrestricted Busa with "tuning" (no internal motor work), in my limited experience, will do about 135-145mph after 400m, not 160mph...

google "crate to 8's in eight"

Busa can be got to 8's in eight hours no internal mods.

base line set was well better than 10 1/2.

guy riding that bus is a pussy
