Pilot road- pilot power - bandit - 18-07-2011

Ok so whats the difference between Michelin Pilot Power 2CT and MICHELIN PILOT ROAD 2 2CT TYRES .
Are they different or the same
Are either ok for the bike i have a Michelin Pilot Road 2CT on the front and its a good tyre

Hi Bandit,

Both are dual compound, the Power is stickier but doesn't last as long. The Road 2 is regarded (according to reviews) as having 1 of the best wear rates. The Road 3 is supposed to better again.
A member on here (Timmy-o-tool) had a Road2 on the front of his Gen 2 for 22000kms. I've used Road 2's for the last 10 yrs. Used them on a VTR1000, R1, Busa, GSXR1000.... love em.

Thanks i saw a pair of power on flea bay for $300
and roads for $360 looks like i will go with the Road 2Pi_thumbsup
