'QuickSliver' Gets Even Quicker. - Dee - 05-09-2006

Hi All,

Just a quick update for those interested.

Len acheived another PB on the weekend,

7.77 @ 192mph

Pushing the National Modbike MPH record up once again.
It is now 188.49mph.

It was a great weekend as not only did he do PB's all round he also came home with another Top Qualifier Medal.

We at Azzopardi Racing would also like to send our Congrats to Winners and Runners Up from the East Coast Nats

Cheers Dee

A big Thank you must go to Ray from Easy Imports for the Great Olean Oil that made the bike per like a kitten all weekend long. Edited by: Dee at: 5/9/06 4:36 pm

Re: congrats - PING DEE - pan - 06-09-2006

Any news from Leonard?
Is he enjoying the warmer weather up there?
Does he get to try the bike out?

Also, did he make it to the finals at soccer?

Re: congrats - PING DEE - Dee - 06-09-2006

Hi Pan,

He flew out at 6pm this evening so I am still waiting for the phone call to say that has arrived at Singapore. (That is where the plane is stopping for fuel)

He made it to the Grand Final but we had the presentation dinner for His Track Champion win on the same night that the final was played, so he couldn't play and hence they lost by one point.

I will keep you updated as I get the news.

Cheers Dee

Go Quicksilver - aBUSa - 06-09-2006

Congratulations to Leonard and Dee, great Work.

That MPH is up there with the US Teams and the ET isn't too shabby either!

Dee, will Quicksilver be semi-retired and brought out occasionally as I wouldnt expect there to be much time available once the new bike comes?

All the best with the new one when it arrives. Leonard will have a few fans as it will feel like one of our own is stepping up to the big league!

Re: Go Quicksilver - Dee - 06-09-2006

Hi Shayne,

We will still do the Ray Box Series on 'QuickSilver' as that is the type of racing that Len built the bike for.

That is of course only if it hasn't been sold before the next round.

I must say that it is a very exciting time at our place at the moment. So much to learn it is mind blowing and I for one cant wait for it to arrive.

Thanks to everyone for the good wishes.

Cheers Dee
