Hey
my vl turbo (external) arrived today and i am now wanting to buy a FPR to suit, what ones are recommended? and what fuel filter?

I am looking at going down the same root I have heard and read that these are a good FPR. first pic
and maybe one of these a the filter 2nd pic
I'm in Tassie too where are you and we can compare notes

The fuel pressure regulator is good, that filter is not, its glass centre and screw together sections are a disaster waiting to happen,
You guys have 99's right, the fuel tank outlet has a strainer in it so the pump is safe from foreign objects, but you need a filter post pump, , i like the short gm filters , there steel housing is very tough, may need some insulation against heat, bit of wetsuit material will do , same with the pump , put it in a stubby holder

Probably , i have brought some from $250 and others down to $70 , all looked the same and worked the same
EFI filters like the gm steel filters are good, built for the pressure .
if you have a 99-00 you don't need a pre pump filter

Hard to tell, probably all made in the same factory in China
Last 2 i brought only several weeks ago were advertised as above but ended up very different to pictured... i sent them back .. after finding a product that works well and is very compact i'm not in a hurry to experiment with others...

Hi Maj,
I am just about ready to order the vl fuel pump filter and FPR I know it goes tank fuel pump filter fpr fuel rail but where does the return fuel line back to the tank connect?

Tank, pump, filter, rail, regulator, tank........ pressure is between the pump and regulator , after that its just dumping excess fuel back in the tank .
