Where in the engine number on 2008 Busa - piperjon - 16-05-2011
Hi,
can you tell me where the engine number is on a 2008 Busa as i need to get a blue slip and was asked to help with where engine number and VIN. I know where the VIN number is but not the engine number.

According to the workshop manual it is located on the "upper crankcase", the diagram looks like it can be seen from the rear of the crankcase to the left of the rear shock.

Hi,
Thanks for the info!!!!!!! My busa should be here wednesday I'm told and then off for blue slip Green slip from GIO for $358.10 but had to get it insurance with GIO for that price. Better then over $600.00. bloody rip off.

I just received my owner's manual in the mail great. I never got it with the bike from QLD funny how things get for gotten.
