This seems like it could be true neodymium magnets are strong but a Hayabusa should have to have enough steel to set off the inductive loop.

lane splitting and other vehicles would normally make this a none event but maybe it might help as when in a side street entering a main road the lights tend to favor the main road flow of traffic maybe this would help.

might be a bit hard to prove it works unless you are a traffic light programmer.

the other thing is imagine all the junk it would collect under the bike.

Might be a dumb thread but am interested what people think?

I've never had a problem, but have heard that reving your engine will also help as it spins the alternator faster which causes a change in the magnetic field of the vehicle.

I ride with a foil hat under my helmet. Seems to do the trick...

If there is any consistency in installation across the states, placing the bike in the middle of the lane (after slowing down in the less greasy bits at the side) should work fine.
