about 2 yrs ago I got radiator guards that had a finer mesh than radguard and I think it came from WA,can anybody remember the company.I assume the gen 2 radiator is diffferent than gen 1 otherwise i would have taken the guards off the written off gen1.

Had fine mesh guards fitted to my new bike. Had a quick check, the only branding I can see is " Warp Speed"
Let me know if you need more info and I can get in touch with the bike dealer and find out where they got them from.

RE: radiator guards - davecrowley - 26-03-2011

thanks guys, both names ring a bell,i will check them both out.

RE: radiator guards - VNSVLE - 26-03-2011

That is correct Warp speed guards from Rated R parts. I have had them on my last 3 bikes and fitted them to half a dozen other mates
bikes.

RE: radiator guards - davecrowley - 26-03-2011

you are correct, but the site says the guards fit all busas,I thought the gen 2 radiator was a different shape to the gen1. Undecided

Dave you are correct and would say the web site may not have been updated. He (Warp Speed) supplies seperate models for the Gen 1 and Gen II Busa Pi_thumbsup

+1 have been on two rides in Mackay area when radiators have been holed (both were Suzuki Bandits) and bike has gone home in the back of a ute, cheap insurance IMO

RE: radiator guards - Skidmarx - 26-03-2011

damn, ok, ill make one asap then :) cheers

RE: radiator guards - VNSVLE - 26-03-2011

@Skidmarx - think of it as a cheap insurance policy ie 150-200 for guards as opposed to 1000+ for a new radiator Very Happy

RE: radiator guards - Skidmarx - 26-03-2011

Ya screw that, my misses already has my nuts in a vice over the current parts list due to throwing it down, and apparently shes already been running around trying to sell it so that i cant get back on it, so please, if anyone is offered a rashed up blue and silver 06 insanely cheap, please think of my puppy dog eyes and tell her to bugger off lol

RE: radiator guards - Belzybob - 26-03-2011

Yep, from all I read its the way to go. Checked my newbie and found a few obvious strikes on the rad already. Quoted price for a replacement in WA is $1200.

RE: radiator guards - Greeny_SA - 27-03-2011
