need help bloody rgv - cleallo - 12-03-2011

ive bought an 90 vj22 rgv for a track bike because im to scared that ill through the busa down the track i was pushing it last time .ive changed spark plugs cleaned out hole fuel system cleaned reed valves checked for air leaks . new fluids right through out including petrol . it starts first kick you can rev it but get on it no power it will take u up the road but no power Wtf please help

Now your making me think from memory (not the best these days) but I think they used the same cdi as the PE250/400 series I used to have the PE400 for a bit of blasting round the bush. And that developed the same similar problem replaced the CDI and away it went.

Try these blokes might be more of a help.

sell it and by an NSR. less maintenance and more go.. win win.

but seriously. power valves working? know that the setupr on the rgv's was very finicky and caused major probs when it stuffed up

Of course the rgv feels like it has no power Boobies4
