Front gaurd/new front tyre. - cyndemgum - 15-01-2011

Fitted a new Metzeler M1 sport tech to the front of the Gen 2 yesterday. Learned a little trick in the process. Whilst I had the bike on the front stand I removed the gaurd bolts, lifted the gaurd so as the lower gaurd bolt holes lined up with the upper threads on the forks and loosely refitted 2 of the bolts. I left the brake lines attached to the gaurd. The wheel then simply rolls out from beneath the gaurd. Will give the M1 a good blast up Gingers tomorrow and see what it is like. The one on the rear is pretty good grip wise, comparible with a pp2ct. Looks like lasting 3-4000kms. Have a blast, Paul.
