I have heard of it for fueltanks but does it work on exhaust too, pretty tough and no cap at the ends

RE: Titanium Exhaust repair - DAVE01 - 08-01-2011

can work but sometimes it splits the tube, the ice freezes at the ends first

RE: Titanium Exhaust repair - [UNIT] - 08-01-2011

Defiantly don't cap the end it will split it longitudinally.

Be careful

never seen dry ice used, just normally fill with water and put in to a freezer.Racing tape will hold the water in until it starts to freeze.
It still can split the pipe though.
