Kaneg Headlift stand - Pommie - 27-10-2010 I just bought one of these little beauties after a bit of a dodgy escapade with a bottle jack. Anyway, lifted the old girl up great, but couldnt get it off the stand without lifting it up a little on the jack again. Anyone else had an issue like this ?? RE: Kaneg Headlift stand - pan - 27-10-2010 Yeh, the headlift stands seem to rub or put pressure at the bottom end/front of the nosecone... They all do it. RE: Kaneg Headlift stand - CarbonBusa - 27-10-2010 Run the front wheel up on a bit of wood first & it will give you a little more clearance/angle & not rub on the nose ![]() RE: Kaneg Headlift stand - Pommie - 27-10-2010 It wasn't rubbing on the nose so much as couldn't get the pin out of the head until I lifted it a little under the sump. The wood should work okay though RE: Kaneg Headlift stand - CarbonBusa - 27-10-2010 (27-10-2010, 09:17pm)Pommie Wrote: It wasn't rubbing on the nose so much as couldn't get the pin out of the head until I lifted it a little under the sump.
