Fitting bar riser - Katman1981 - 26-10-2010 G'day I have ordered a bar riser for my '09, (sligtly higher bars required due to left over effects of a broken back).... looks simple enough in the pictures, but the blurb says I may need to re-route the choke cable???? Any advice/tips would be greatly appreciated ![]() RE: Fitting bar riser - Resn8 - 26-10-2010 If your 09 has a choke cable then you have some real issues! RE: Fitting bar riser - Troppo - 26-10-2010 Never mind Res, mate.... What kind of a bar riser is it? Is it a Genmar/Soupy's block type, or Helibars? The 08-on model doesn't have a choke cable. Both type of risers fit on without any hassle. The only thing you will have to do is loosen off the wire tie that holds the cables from the bars - it is under the dash, and you can reach it with your hands. |
