i own a 07 bus... and will be changing the chain and sprockets soon. I have previously had the fairing etc off and looked at my front sprocket.. and was just wondering if i needed a special tool to get it off... thanks

RE: front sprocket - Volvi - 06-10-2010

good video. I had probs trying to loosen the front sproc bolt, but silly me didnt know that trick of locking the rear wheel with a rod. in the end had to get into workshop who removed nut with air hammer socket. good luck, let us know how you went.

ps. if i remember correctly socket was size 32.

Excellent! I'll be doing my own now... once I find part 2.

RE: front sprocket - Timmy_0_T00l - 10-10-2010

not sure what size the Gen 1s use but i know that the gen 2s need a 36mm socket, and for a socket and wrench large enough for it cost me $70 from memory and both parts are Kingchrome too

If you search youtube for the original you'll find the part 2 mentioned and listed.

Cheers
