RE: ignition lock change - Louwai - 05-10-2010 Don't know about changing. Someone tried to steel my bike from the Melbourne airport a few yrs back. They stuffed the ignition. New lock set (Ignition, Fuel tank & rear storage area) supplied & fitted by Mick Hone was $1800. - Insurance paid for it. When my issue happened there were no lock sets in Australia. I had to wait 5wks for one to come from Suzuki, Japan. Also, forgot to say, that price also included the supply & install of the top tripple clamp & the cast locking mechanism casing as well. the would-be theif damaged them as well. |
