I've got no reason to get the bearings but would like to swap out whole wheels since I have all othe parts. Any info I'd like to hear no matter how small. Thanks.

A friend of mine had a set on his SP2. Huge difference in handling, alot easier to change direction quickly. Would imagine it would be the same for a busa. As far as i know he used standard wheel bearings. Fit them, you won't be dissapointed.

Fast Bike magazine put them on an R1 and tested them at a track. Timed with standard wheels then the BST jobbies. With the carbon wheels they got lap times several seconds faster than the stock wheels. (cant remember the exact time, Ill check when I get home) They said if you spent the same amount of money doing engine mods etc you wouldnt get the results the wheels got. If you want better handeling in twisties go for it!

I already own these wheels. Was looking at getting them a while ago but you had to get them directly from South Africa which i did'nt mind, but a few weeks later when i checked again they now had an oz distributor which is Carbon Imports in Sydney. They had a 10% discount for there first month so decided to get them then and there-and they are the best looking and most well made carbon fibre anything ive ever seen. So glad i got them. Good luck getting a discount...

My thoughts on the BST CF Wheels:

They're great! They're Brilliant! They're the best mod I put on my bike! They made such a huge difference I could not make you understand how big a difference I mean. The bike became sooooo flickable.

I got mine when carbon imports had them on special $4100 but they're worth every cent. They made my bike capable of sticking with a gixer 1000 and 750 through the first half of Nanga Brook Rd with two very fast very experience riders, ofcourse the power of the busa helped.

How are you doin with yours BJKS1? Wouldn't you agree?

..Oh yeah and they came with ceramic bearings, valve stems, rotor and sprocket holders, a Driven sprocket (choice of colour and number of teeth), free freight all for $4500. They use the busa's cush drive. It took 5 weeks to make it to order and send it.
