Removable inserts in the yoshi RS3 duals - moshy_7 - 21-09-2010 Hi all, ![]() Does that mean there are several that could be taken out individually so as to improve noise/performance or only one insert as an option for say track only? I would like to know if there are several options on the removal of inserts and how difficult would it be to adjust/do ---- ? As you can tell I am not versed in the sciences of mechanicism'z. ![]() Any help would be greatly appreciated.. ![]() A big thank-you in advance ![]() RE: Removable inserts in the yoshi RS3 duals - Steve - 21-09-2010 only one and if you get the bike flashed with them in or out that is the best way to have it, as it will slightly change the fueling if you add/remove after being flashed. Just exhausts alone wont improve performance, the bike needs to be dialed in after they are installed, it made 9 hp difference to mine after flashing. Is there a huge difference in noise with them out so you could get away with it on the streets............? ![]() RE: Removable inserts in the yoshi RS3 duals - CeeJay07 - 22-09-2010 I rode my '03 (fitted with Staintunes) without the sound restrictors and currently ride my '07 (Yoshis) without the sound restrictors.....never been pulled up for it......probably depends on how you ride it......if you draw attention to yourself, chances are you'll get booked regardless of the baffles being fitted or not. Thanks for the info - ![]() RE: Removable inserts in the yoshi RS3 duals - Steve - 22-09-2010 I like mine with the inserts in and it still make a reasonable noise, they do get a bit louder once on the bike for a while. I would suggest you ride the bike around for a few weeks before you get it tuned to make sure what sound level you prefer.
