RE: new pipes - bazman - 21-08-2010 They look GREAT, Steve! but more to the point............how do they sOuNd?!? RE: new pipes - Macbusa - 21-08-2010 wow.... they look HOT !!!!!!!!!!!! RE: new pipes - big kev - 21-08-2010 very sweet looking . RE: new pipes - Steve - 21-08-2010 thanks all, they do sound as good as they look, I am very happy with them as they are exactly what I was after. I loved the look but didn't want pipes too loud, as I would hate to not be able to hear that induction growl. With the insert fitted they are just right. They weigh a frag under 3kg each side compared to around 8kg for the stock ones, this weight saving is obvious on the first ride. The bike feels lighter and seems easier to flick into corners, loved the ride up the goat track and down the other side today ps the I havent sat on a standard seat other than a quick ride on an 10 demo, this seat is still very firm but I just did about 2.5 hours of riding and pulled up ok, if you are wanting plush I would suggest getting a custom seat made.
