07 Stock muffler mod - tthebusnz - 23-06-2010

Ripped apart some stock mufflers i picked up from the local suzuki shop (Holeshot motorcycles).
I was blowen away by how much shit as been packed inside them. Even the pipe that runs from collector box to the muffler has baffling welded inside it.
The idea was to get some better sound & air flow while keeping the bike looking as stock looking as possible. And it sound GREAT now without beening to offensive.
The whole process cost around $40 bucks. The biggest part is removing the inner part of the muffler without damaging the outter alloy sleeve.

If anyone is interested in the finer details required for this job just let me know. Its very simple and can be done with some basic DIY tools drill / grinder / rivit gun and a spare set of hands. Cheers
