tread direction - davecrowley - 15-05-2010

hi,I noticed that the tread design on the front tyre faces the opposite direction than the rear tyre, have checked the arrows and they are on the right way and looked at other bikes and all the same, why is this so. Confused

Your rear tyre is designed to push water out to the side, whereas your front tyre is treaded so that water will be forced away from the sides of the tyre because you need that area for maximum grip. Make sense?
