Non-slip tank pads - Heidi1 - 11-05-2010 Hey team I'm after those non-slip tank pad (kinda things), that people have on the tank of their trackies so they can lean right off without slipping. Main problem is I don't know what they are called. I've googled about seven different versions and haven't come up with what I am after. Any ideas? RE: Non-slip tank pads - bazman - 11-05-2010 U mean the ones like Ange has on her trackie?!? i think they're called "tank grip pads" mate? dunno where you'd get 'em but.... ummmm.....try here Heidi http://shop.ebay.com.au/?_from=R40&_trksid=p3907.m570.l1313&_nkw=motorbike+tank+grip+pads&_sacat=See-All-Categories RE: Non-slip tank pads - CeeJay07 - 11-05-2010 techspec-usa.com RE: Non-slip tank pads - bigjay - 11-05-2010 (11-05-2010, 03:08pm)CeeJay07 Wrote: techspec-usa.com just got the techspec on my zx6r and they are awesome!!!!!!!!!! http://www.techspec-aus.com.au/ RE: Non-slip tank pads - Heidi1 - 11-05-2010 Did you. My mechanic has just suggested stomp grip, so I'll have a look at both of those products. Thanks heaps for all the advice! Thanks heaps for all the advice! stomp grips are more abrasive and are a bitch to put on and get the bubbles out. They're more for track use. Techspec are more multi purpose RE: Non-slip tank pads - Heidi1 - 11-05-2010 Mine is just for track use, I want to put it on my trackie. I wouldn't put it on the busa, don't need it. |
