Corowa - Maj - 20-04-2010

Corowa is holding its first drags this weekend,
http://www.corowa.nsw.gov.au/visitors/events/201037419498.asp
not advertised but they are happy to cater for bikes, 4 vehicles of a type and they will creat a new class , keep going around and the quickest 2 in the class of both days run off in the final

Also spoke to the organiser about a standing start km or mile event, said he would look into it Trophy, there is roughly 2 km of good quality blacktop

Near Albury /Wodonga on the nsw/vic border

Bugger mate let us know if they or anyone else is doing it again and I'll bring both busa's down.

RE: Corowa - Maj - 20-04-2010

Going to miss it myself, which is a bugger, figured i could do a lot more to encourage a maxton mile or texas mile type event if i was there

Yep, life gets in the way. I'll be in Corowa on Sunday, but doing a tour and can't quite see my clientelle being interested in an afternoon at the drags! Confused

RE: Corowa - Maj - 23-04-2010

Try them..... if there not interested leave them at the bowls club for a few hours

looks like a great weekend. once i get my bastard of a bike going ill be there when its on for sure. looks like something we should try and throw some support behind.

RE: Corowa - Heidi1 - 01-05-2010

ABSOLUTELY! Get a wriggle on with your build Dan, I'm keen to give it a go again now my life is calming down. Let's put this in our diary for next year. Hey Maj, if you hear of them doing it again, can you give us a heads up? I'll give you all someone to beat.

RE: Corowa - Dan85 - 01-05-2010

next year? im not sure it will be done by then...........im working on it pretty slowly! for every bolt/nut/screw i put in i have a beer or scotch or both.

RE: Corowa - Maj - 02-05-2010

I have to get back in touch with the organisers when i'm home, let everyone know the results
Dan thats going to be a very expensive bike ........;)

RE: Corowa - Dan85 - 02-05-2010

expensive but character building!! its been pretty cheap thus far but then again i havent done alot as you could imagine. Even if i dont have my bike ready if we can get some earlyish notice ill go and spectate. perhaps ill get adventurous and take the vibrating star out for a lash.

RE: Corowa - Heidi1 - 02-05-2010

Work harder Dan, get more men.

RE: Corowa - Dan85 - 02-05-2010

your jsut scared my vstar will out pace your hayabusa arent you........i to am sometimes scared of the mighty 55rwhp it puts out.... hopefully im at a point were the only major thing i need now is the engine the rest is just little things like bolts and some wiring that i have to do
