extended subframe advice - Macbusa - 01-04-2010 I have a extended tail 8"+, just wanting to see how guys have mounted it to there subframes.. It is a wide body design, not thin like a std tail. Any help or tips would be great ![]() cheers RE: extended subframe advice - Legend - 01-04-2010 Grant, Make sure the subframe is long enough to support the extra lenght or it'll crack the paintwork or worse the tail itself. I mounted mine so it floats on the subframe via rubber gromets and black foam (the kind used for AC piping insulation) been fine for years. If you need any pic's let me know. Leonard. |
