GEN1 GEN2 REAR ENDS - big kev - 31-03-2010

hey guys some of you know ive had fun doing some mods to my busa , now its time to take it up a notch . i was reading a thread that gruntmax posted up and there was a pice of a GEN1 with a GEN2 rear end . ive really liked this idea for some time now . so i thourt i would get some thourts. just looking at this bike inspires me to do something this cool . i will do my own custom seat lol .

the frame width is the same im thinking of astetics . the measurements at the same as in width . so now its down to getting a rear end in and pulling it all apart and mounting in the gen 2 rear

yeah i had a good read of the busa.org forum im convinced that the swap wont be to hard and im hopeing i will get the look i want . fingers crossed

yeah i will keep you all informed . i will have the rear end repainted to match the gen 1 colour scheme as well

I like the look in that photo, but still not a fan of the Gen2 rear from the back. It seems like a change for change sake. I would have thought most people are after a 'smaller looking rear' Maybe a Gen1 back on a Gen2 ??

It definitely makes you look twice at a bike like that..
The chrome bling and low stance sure help too.

yeah my bike is lowered and soon as i saw this i thourt of my bike . so i think thats the plan .

its just the over all out look i love the gen 1 but soon as i saw this i was blown away . and now its something that my busa must have
