Twist of the wrist 2 - [UNIT] - 22-03-2010 Have any of you guys read this or watched the DVD? I'v came across a copy of the DVD. Pretty interesting stuff! RE: Twist of the wrist 2 - mia06 - 22-03-2010 cant say that i have do tell RE: Twist of the wrist 2 - [UNIT] - 23-03-2010 It's called Keith code's twist of the wrist 2. It deals with myths of motorcyle cornering and also the actual physics of why the bike does what it does. How the actions you make effect the bike and why it happens in a technical sense. Pretty interesting, altho some parts are common sense too. RE: Twist of the wrist 2 - bigjay - 23-03-2010 yeah i have seen it heaps of times. It shows the right and wrong way of riding. More track orientated, but still applicable to the street. Well worth a looksie........ RE: Twist of the wrist 2 - CeeJay07 - 23-03-2010 Someone posted a link to Twist Of The Wrist vol 1 a while back...not a bad read. RE: Twist of the wrist 2 - Leviathan - 23-03-2010 The actors in the DVD are American and a bit "daytime soap" but if you can stay with it, the information is really good. RE: Twist of the wrist 2 - BikerBoy - 23-03-2010 These are the links to a PDF copy of the book Twist of the Wrist Vol.2. Found it on another forum. Spewin because I had just bought it too. http://www.bikesandscooters.com.au/ftp/TwistOfTheWrist2_part1.pdf http://www.bikesandscooters.com.au/ftp/TwistOfTheWrist2_part2.pdf RE: Twist of the wrist 2 - GCBusa - 23-03-2010 Not sure about the DVD but I found both books 1&2 a very valuable read. Principals all apply to track and fast road riding. RE: Twist of the wrist 2 - Camel - 23-03-2010 Good stuff! The first thing I saw on the first page of Part II was "counter steering'. It immediately reminded me of a Fred Gassit cartoon where Fredsy points out the couter steering paradox, i.e. 'turning the bars to the right to turn left'. So there, I'm admitting it, reading Fred Gassit improved my riding technique. Camel RE: Twist of the wrist 2 - [UNIT] - 23-03-2010 The DVD isn't hard to get hold of. If u google it and look closely you will see what I mean RE: Twist of the wrist 2 - bigjay - 23-03-2010 (23-03-2010, 02:00pm)[UNIT] Wrote: The DVD isn't hard to get hold of. Good DVD, Everyone should watch it . Torrents . Gleamed more from that than 40 yrs practicing .Doesn't matter how much riding you've done, If your doing it wrong, your doing it wrong . RE: Twist of the wrist 2 - Diablo - 24-03-2010 Twist of the Wrist 1 and 2 are both very much worth the read. particularly the comments by, correct me here someone, it's either Wayne Rainey or kevin Schwantz, cant remember which. It was a long time ago that I read both, and my son now has my copies, for study. RE: Twist of the wrist 2 - Ward P - 26-03-2010 The book is my bible. Didn't know there was a DVD. . . .now I do |
