Mine, Doh. - MaldonCsalt - 08-02-2010 that sucks man, im suprised to hear it was a taxi though theyre usually really carefull how they manovere in the traffic RE: Busa down Parramatta Rd... Mine, Doh. - 1hotbusa - 08-02-2010 Sorry to hear that John. I hope you are going to go the taxi driver! Did you call the . I bet the taxi driver was sh*tting bricks when he saw you get up if you have any difficulties we can have a club ride RE: Busa down Parramatta Rd... Mine, Doh. - John - 08-02-2010 Bike is insured with IMR. The taxi crossed 3 lanes to pick someone up i hit him and went down, he just drove off didn't get the plate so it's going to be my fault. Bloke in a garbage truck stopped and helped me pick the bike up. Checked for leaks and continued on my way. RE: Busa down Parramatta Rd... Mine, Doh. - CeeJay07 - 08-02-2010 What...the taxi driver kept going??? Did you at least get the colour of his turban (sorry...is that too racist?). Glad to hear you're OK...the bike can be repaired (although it's still depressing). IMR are a great bunch to deal with....I've never had a problem with them (2 claims in 9 months) RE: Busa down Parramatta Rd... Mine, Doh. - bazman - 08-02-2010 waited all that time for ur new toy > > > > and then this happens bastard taxi drivers condolences mate, at least ur not too beat up.....so i guess things could always be a lot worse RE: Busa down Parramatta Rd... Mine, Doh. - BikerBoy - 08-02-2010 What a bitch. Hope your okay. You should contact the Taxi company and explain what happened. They should be able to check the logs as to who picked up a fair from that road at that time. Considering he took off you can threaten the taxi company for a driver of theirs leaving the scene of an accidednt which is against the law. Make them Pay!!!!!!! RE: Busa down Parramatta Rd... Mine, Doh. - LOAFIE - 08-02-2010 Sorry to hear mate but glad your Ok RE: Busa down Parramatta Rd... Mine, Doh. - Madmax - 08-02-2010 I have an old belt from my days of living in Sydney '79 to '81. "Ride hard - Die fast - Taxis Suck" The times you're in the traffic and left your .45 on the dinning room table.!!! The words say it all. Glad you're okay mate. RE: Busa down Parramatta Rd... Mine, Doh. - 09Fatboy - 09-02-2010 Glad you were'nt seriously injured. Parramatta rd is a nightmare in a car let alone a bike . I can't understand why suzuki don't offer ABS on the busa as standard as it's a heavy bike to stop in a hurry and would make life safer for riders. |
