Aluminium chroming in Perth - Iburgr - 02-02-2010
I was wondering if anyone knows who plates Aluminium parts in the Perth area, its getting a little expensive buying in parts from the States via Ebay
I've tried phoning a few Platers and it's a straight out Nope!!!Cheers,

I had a heap of parts chromed in perth by both of the big chrome platers and both turned out shit, the chrome was yellow and peeled off the alloy when you held a hose on it.
One was davinci the other I dont remember. That was 2 years ago so may have changed now.

Hey Rob how ya going..
Mate you might be pushing that one everyone I know that has had chroming done here in West Aus have not been happy.
They have all sent their bits to the East and the mob that Rod has mentioned in the previous post one of the guys has used and was happy with the end product.

Thanks for the input fella's, I've currently got the rear foot pegs and front foot pegs & the brackets /sets in at the platers getting polished, the rest is getting chromed (nuts and bolts etc....), if the polishing doesn't look that crash hot, I'll contact the above in the East and arrange something.
