RE: polished and polished - madbusa - 30-01-2010 I heard the same to hard so just stick to all the little bits. Like top plate of triple clamp foot pegs wheels ie just little bits easier done and maintain. just my two cents i done it to mine or just get everything nickel plated that what i looking at now RE: polished and polished - [UNIT] - 30-01-2010 Get it ceramic coated in chrome finish. Thru hi octane or someone. Looks similar, lasts longer, f*** loads easier RE: polished and polished - Bill Gaheer - 30-01-2010 I did my wheels and maintenance is not easy..... RE: polished and polished - Natcam - 30-01-2010 Ive got time for polish, but never got into it. I did the rim edges the hard way on my TLR and they came up a treat. Nickel plating looks the goods, but I really dont want to strip the bike completely ?? Any body got any famous trickery, or is it all hard work and bad news ?? By the way.............can you clear coat over fresh polished alloy, like if I polish up the wheels, will clear coating straight over work to save having to repolish after every time its washed ? RE: polished and polished - simmo - 31-01-2010 Sweet looking Copper ![]() Rod on this site may have some Copper plated stuff laying around when you get sick of polishing stuff ![]() RE: polished and polished - [UNIT] - 31-01-2010 I've seen a few pics of that bike now.
