updates - 1ArmedBandit - 23-01-2010

thought I'd start new thread for my regular updates

Today

no change, they said yesterday they thought she was moving better, but on watching her today I feel she is just more intune with the fact her back legs don't work.

she is very comfortable pain wise, they are on top of it.

We have hundreds of e-mails from well wishers, we are only reading the on mass once a day cause it makes us cry. People are sharing many personal stories and they are so touching. It so over whelming to see how much support this wee cattle dog has.

Her are some pics of her in ICU, I have taken video but can't watch it, these shots gives me happy thoughts.

thanks again guys

love jenn

GREAT NEWS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

BUNDY COMING HOME TODAY!

She isn't out of the woods but...................... has made small improvements and David said why run the bill up more when we still have heavy physio expenses to come. And because I know what I'm doing she would be better off at home under my watchful care!ClapClapClap

She has stood on her own briefly and is showing some movement in her hind legs!Clap

No guarantees but she at least can start physio at the end of the week with some hope!

Go Bundy Girl!!!!!!!!!!!! Go!!

Good Morning Guys!

The little battler doin just fine...........me Pi_freak

Four hourly 24/7 care!!! Now thats why I never had kids!!!Lol2

I am so tired but mastering the nana napsPi_tongue

Bundy is on a very heavy dose of steroids which we start to VERY carefully wean her off starting Saturday Clap

Every four hours I towel walk her out to toilet as the steroids make her very very thirsty, the first few days home she was incontinent but thats improving rapidly.

I record which side I lay her on then switch her over, this is so she doesn't develop pressure sores. I give her a light massage four times a day which I think she will expect after she heals!

Bundy your dreaming!!Roll

Tomorrow at midday we have our first physio session with the wonderful Helen, and our homework begins!

She is just about to have her photo taken for the local paper St Marys Star, the staff have done numerous stories on Bundy and they are just as devastated as we all are!

But I think the reporter thought the Hayabusa club is some kind of sushi worshiping cult, I had to explain its a bike club! Lol2

keep ya posted
