Might have to get down for some drag riding lessons from you Leonard ?
Then I'll be able to tune faster bikes Lol2 Lol2

RE: Seven Fiddy - Maj - 09-01-2010

Actually Pete very little was from me headers and some info , Paul built most of it himself, bet he is stoked by the outcome esp on a very streetable 8 psi

RE: Seven Fiddy - exposure - 10-01-2010

Hey guys, the bike is awesome to ride, but very flighty as you suggested Pete. I am sure i will get used to it - i should probably go up 1 on the front maybe. Thanks for all your assistance Greg - the manifold and actuator were great, and as always you are very approachable for information.

Pete - great job on the bike, i can thoroughly recommend you to anyone wanting mod work or tune!

Now - which way to willowbank dragway anyone?

RE: Seven Fiddy - fasterfaster - 10-01-2010

One must also mention Abusa (Cyanide Racing) for his efforts also and as far as a vendor that backs what he sells there is non better.
Thanks Shane.

RE: Seven Fiddy - Camel - 10-01-2010

C'mon Pete! That dip at 7500 corresponds with a drop in AFR!

And for crissakes, wipe your nose hairs off the scanner!

Seriously now, good job to all!

RE: Seven Fiddy - fasterfaster - 10-01-2010

Mark don't worry she's been trimmed ............... the nose hair and the map Lol2

RE: Seven Fiddy - NEMESIS - 10-01-2010

Definitely Pete, Shayne from Cyanide has been critical in getting this project up and going.. Sorry i didnt realise he was a member of this forum - i have publically acknowledged his contribution on another forum.

Thanks Shayne for all your efforts mate. Biker

By the way, Nemesis - it is a 2004 model. :)

03
quick rundown of what that map shows
first bit till ~70hp is the bike operating pre boost, next the curve steepens as it builds boost up to ~130hp where it has reached the wastegate opening point, the curve flattens out here but hp still increases as revs rise, i actually think there is a little bit of boost creep in the upper rev range , fairly typical of a internal wastegate , (torque graph would show that better )

Did the port job Greg as discussed and nothing obvious on the gauge. Maybe Pete could send you the Torque graph for you opinion. Would be good to know if it does creep a little.

RE: Seven Fiddy - abusa - 10-01-2010

Thanks for the good words Paul and Pete. Its another one of those joint efforts that wouldnt have been accomplished without everyone pitching. Its been a bit of a long haul but I think the final result was well worth the effort. Pete may have grown a few more greys than the rest of us lol.

Happy riding Paul just resist the urge to turn up the wick!!
