Extending wiring loom - [UNIT] - 07-01-2010

Hi

I'm extending my wiring loom to the tip over sensor, air pressure sensor, starter solenoid (not + -) and everything else under the seat!

What guage cable should I be looking for? I don't want to do it by eye as the insulation can vary.

Cheers

Strip back the insulation, the do it by eye....Coolsmiley

The sensors shouldn't matter if its a bit thiner or thicker, but as for the start solinoid I'd remove the wire and take it with you, go for a slighty thicker wire if your extending it a significant lenght.

Some of the better electronic shops should carry what your after, except for the colours....

Leonard.

Thanks mate. I'll do that.
Had an idea about chasing looms thru wreckers. I'm sure most of Suzuki use similar plugs. That way I won't change the STD loom. Probably safer

Don't restrict yourself to Busa looms! I've found many late model zooks run the same wires, plugs and even miscellaneous components - like starter relays, TOS, etc. Even scooters!
