Western Australia will become the first state to abolish car and motorbike registration stickers and discs -- new technology means police will read the data electronically. there will be many updates on this so keep your eyes on this thread

Yes you are right in your statement, the media here have been advising of the new changes due to come into effect as of January as I understand it.
Great Pi_thumbsup , it finally gets rid of the unsightly, and hard to find a good place to put the rego disk.

if it works in W.a then it will be more than liely be pushed in other states as well.

I guess that solves the problem of the rego label holder moving and covering one or two of the numbers or letters of the licence plate Lol3
