RE: Power comander - nato674 - 29-12-2009

Had mine reflashed recently and as far as i understand there is no need for a power commander you can simply flash your current ecu with the same benifits you would get from a power commander.

RE: Power comander - Avante - 29-12-2009

My ecu was originally flashed and only allows you 4 points at which you can adjust your fuel settings by 5-10 percent where a power commander will give you a broader range of adjustment in more areas. Mind you i had mine done by a mate about 8 years ago now and hes since moved and i dont know anyone locally with a box so its just easier to get a power commander for myself.

Im sure someone will shoot me down in flames with my facts but like i said it was about 8 years ago lol.

Not much flashing possible with the 99-2000 ECU, need to upgrade to 32 bit ECU, alternator, etc.
