Anyone who know's me will tell you I like Bandit 12's.
(Just ask anyone I've bored on the subject)
Had a brand new Naked 96 model in the UK, Loved it,
Pipe/Nitrous/Renthals etc. Had Busa's and B-King since but always
liked the original B12. Never realy attracted to the later models.
Had more fun on my old one than any other bike i've owned.
Cheap, Nasty, basic but never fail to make me grin,
Top bike for clowning about on.

So I just bought this........

99 model. Bit rough but not butchered. Several tatty panels,
small rip in seat, f#ck'd front tyre, new plug's, new battery,
Yoshi can with no ding's in it. No plates on it, bloke was going
to hand them but gave to me instead. Just had a spin around the
block, seem's fine.

$2852.

Not sure what to do with it ?

Got 3 naked Suzuki's rego'd, might "fighter" it and not be as
restrained as on the others that are mile munchers.

Might use it for the drag's, always liked the look of Brock's
faired "first streetbike in the 7's"

Might rego it and just abuse it.

Either way, got 3 weeks off for Xmas and a shed to put it in.

Yeah, im on another forum with Brock Davidson, helpful bloke.
I was thinking more of the looks/style/overall design rather than
7-second performance... Lol3

I had an '02 that I traded for the Busa - best bang for buck in the bike world, with a little tweaking they handle ok too.

Yeah, got a few more bit's on their way but at this rate i'll
be riding it to vintage bike do's by the time its finished.
No rush, just a collection of left-over's and freebie parts
(all the good bit's are still boxed/wrapped up, new pipes/screen etc)
Might be a wrecked bike one day and finish it.

Never really wanted the tupperware model, (but it was cheap enough)

...and the forks had rust, and the front tyre bald, front guard scuffed,
so......

New Pilot Power front tyre,
better rust free forks,
new bulbs, new grip's,
SV headlight,
new brake light switch.
B12N headlight mounts, better front guard,
new rear brake light switch.

Nice collection you've got there....my old man had a Bandit before he got his GSX1400.....really nice bike.....I'm very jealous of your shed...as I'm sure are the rest of us that gamble, drink, smoke, have kids, a mortgage, the list goes on and on.

Did a few more job's on the bike today,
Got a guy out to do a mobile roadworthy,
On the phone to Shannon's to put it on my insurance,
Off to Qld Transport for a plate and some rego.
......then out to play !
