s2000 injectors - MaldonCsalt - 02-11-2009 is there a particuler year in which i need them to suit the busa with out modification of the fuel rail ?? RE: s2000 injectors - GRUNTMAX - 03-11-2009 s2000 - Been told that they are "primitive". Performance & Spray Pattern ? 1 bar = 14.50377 PSI High Impedence. No need for peak n hold injector driver, not that you'd need 4 with those old honda injectors anyway. Maybe you have a local Bosch dealer. As far as I know they are all the same. I am looking for some injectors myself for the turbo. Anybody got any advice on best place to get em? RE: s2000 injectors - MaldonCsalt - 03-11-2009 cheers gruntmax, horndog im slowly building up all the litle shit i think i need RE: s2000 injectors - Maj - 03-11-2009 They are a bigger version~380cc to the std injector~240cc, can't tell them apart except they have yellow screens rather than the std black or the 1/2 way between honda blackbird injectors at 310cc with gray screens If your buying s2000 injectors get a pic, if they look right they are right . Maldon why bigger injectors ?? Many other injectors fit with little modification, look for 11mm fuel inlet and tip, lots in the denso range but most of these will need a connector change and oversizing of the injector hole in the throttlebodies . i have 550cc mazda injectors in my streetbike Just be sure to get hi impedance or you can use low imp, there is a resistor pack used in some cars that will allow you to run them 550cc in my bike ![]() RE: s2000 injectors - MaldonCsalt - 03-11-2009 I plan on getting 1397 maybe 1441 mid/end of next year just grabbing stuff prior to that to give me something to do and lessen the financial loss when the time for bigger purchases comes. When you chucked your injectors in did you get them flow tested/cleaned etc ?? If so what sort of price did you pay Maj ? RE: s2000 injectors - Maj - 03-11-2009 Honda blackbird would be a good size for your all motor, bigger are more turbo territory , 250hp + Coupled with a Audi intank pump to ensure supply is good and your going to have to spend a lot of money on that motor to even come close to the fuel systems capability.. 550cc cost me $100 on ebay and i cleaned & tested them myself , RE: s2000 injectors - MaldonCsalt - 03-11-2009 cheers maj, ill grab em. As for cleaning and testing i will have to out-source as i like to keep the motorcycle industry kicking over, and i break shit when i play with it :) RE: s2000 injectors - Maj - 04-11-2009 Last set of blackbird injectors i brought from Metro in Sydney, can't remember exactly how much they go real cheap on US ebay but you have to balance the risk with the price ... RE: s2000 injectors - GRUNTMAX - 04-11-2009 The advantages regards the peak & hold (low impedence) injectors was that at idle rpm on a big motor with high lift cams etc, they would produce good even flow at low injector pulse width. That's why I know of a certain 550HP drag bike that's currently being built (no cam changes) is having 600cc/min www.rceng.com injectors fitted. Bought & paid for before Bosch came out with the EV-14,s. No need for the Peak & Hold Injector driver with the EV-14s, however, maybe a bit big for your bike. Then again maybe OK at only stock fuel pressure. If you go to that link & go to the injector sizing technical tab, then save the whole page into a folder on your own PC, then it's like having your own injector calculator ![]() RE: s2000 injectors - GRUNTMAX - 04-11-2009 Gday MaldonCsalt, Just had another Brain Injury Memory Flashback, ya bike was going to be Nitrous ? [attachment=7924] [attachment=7925] RE: s2000 injectors - MaldonCsalt - 04-11-2009 yer, its got a vortex dry shot but i havnt got off my arse yet about getting it tuned to utilise that hub i got off off you, work has been eating all my time, that spyder kit looks sweet though definatley would have to be better than one spray nozle, ill check that page too. Hows ya build going on your street bike, is it going to be on the road before double demerit xmas holidays ? RE: s2000 injectors - spamanglenn - 04-11-2009 blackbird injectors were $100 each at metros when i got a set, you,ll need to flash the ecu to compensate when starting, mine used to flood the plugs on cold starts.
