Avgas - 463046 - 28-10-2009
Hi all I own a 99 busa and wanted to know if anyone has used avgas. I only use the bike for drag racing.

whats done to the motor?stock motors run fastest on 91 octane.

Nothing its totally stock. Will try the 91 fuel. Have been using 95 premium. Thanks.

Well, tried 91 octane fuel last night and dispite what I have red the bike ran slower and the mph was down by 2
Everyone one else ran their normal times. Will be going back to 95 premium I think.

did you log what air fuel it was running with the 2 different fuels?.different fuels have different specific gravities and can run richer or leaner with the same tune.

No don't have the gear for that but it was running a bit richer. Could smell the extra exhaust fumes.
