Greetings - DOH11 - 26-09-2009 Hi, Long time reader, first time poster. Bought the first Busa in Dec 02 because the then girlfriend (Now wife) complained that the seat on my Gixer 1000 "was uncomfortable". Saw a Black K3 in the window of the bike shop and it was love at first sight. Bought the bike the next day :) and rode almost daily for 5 years with a 9 month break in the middle due to an act of stupidity. Sold the K3 early last year and picked up a K9 in February this year and to me it feels like an entirely new bike, the brakes actually work and it falls into corners the way I wished the old one would. Been playing with the new mistress for a while and have fitted new pads, K & N filter, Yoshi full system with Power commander 5 and auto tune so if you have any questions on the PC5 or autotune I'd be only too happy to help also I have the full workshop manual for the Gen2 if anyone needs info from it. I live in the Hills district, work in IT and will ride just about anywhere anytime. Many Thanks Brett RE: Greetings - big kev - 26-09-2009 hey brett welcome aboard mate theres always something going on in here mate post up some pics when you can mate cheers big kev RE: Greetings - NEMESIS - 26-09-2009 Nice!!!! RE: Greetings - Hutch99 - 26-09-2009 welcome man... hahaha! im a pussy in the corners too! slowly getting there. ...get me on the straight -twist and hold on RE: Greetings - king 62 - 26-09-2009 RE: Greetings - Heidi1 - 26-09-2009 Welcome Doh, I'll bet the missus got upset with you. I had a 6'2'', 115kg boyfriend I used to occasionally shoehorn onto the back of an R1. They get a bit noisy when they are uncomfortable! RE: Greetings - Astro - 26-09-2009 Welcome aboard Doh! RE: Greetings - Rev004 - 26-09-2009 to the club Doh. Must say I've got a soft spot for those Black K9s RE: Greetings - BUSABAZZ - 26-09-2009 G'day mate RE: Greetings - CeeJay07 - 26-09-2009 Doh......the best way to stop the missus whinging from the pillion seat is not to take her anywhere...works for me. RE: Greetings - jamesallan - 27-09-2009 Hi Brett, Thanks for the intro and welcome, you have picked a beauty looks neat with some extras fitted. Hope to see you around I have the same model and ride to Richmond from North Ryde to work. RE: Greetings - BabyBusa - 28-09-2009 Brett Keep an eye out on the 'Riding Not Talking' section. There is a Sydney meet up at the Rocksia Hotel on the 3rd October and a BBQ at Carrs Park on the 10th October (this is in the 'General Discussion' section as a poll).
