chain - bigjay - 20-09-2009 can you add or remove links to stock 08-09 chain??????? RE: chain - BUSGO - 20-09-2009 It shouldn't be a major drama as long as you have the links and joiners as well as a good chainbreaker. I don't know if taking a link out of a stock Gen II chain leaves enough room on the stock swingarm or with stock sprockets. I have 5 brand new RK530 X ring links in the shed if you need them. RE: chain - BLACKZOOK - 20-09-2009 Chain breaker = grinder As long as you have either the rivet or clip links then its easy. I have done this several times on my gen2.
