Are k8 and gen 1 triple clamp same - madbusa - 13-09-2009
Hey Guys
Just wondering if anyone could tell me if the holes in the top plate of k8 would be same as my 2000 model looking at buying fork covers etc. Offered some that where taken off a k8 wondering if they will fit my bike. Any help appreciated

Any more info guys looked on websites and all seem same are caps going to be too small or too big want to ensure they will fit or i can make them fit any help please more info

The stock top plate from the gen 2 will not fit a gen 1 as the ignition switch is in a different location and the plate cutouts dont match. Aftermarket top trees that are not molded close to the ignition switch may fit - dont know.

BLACKZOOK don't want to swap top plates just want to use fork caps and stem nut cover that came off 08 on a gen1 are stem nuts same size and fork adjusters that what i trying to find out. Cheers
