Anyone know where i can buy a 17tooth front cog for a K8 ??

Go the 45 rear Pete or you will need 5th gear. Also easier to make gearing changes. i have std 43,44(which i used at winters) and a 45 that i look to use some more this season but you must shift at optimum revs with the 45 or you will tag the limiter at the strip in 4th. cheers.

going to try 17/46 & go through top of 5th, i have a 45 & 46 from the gixxer so plan on having a play around Pi_thumbsup

I think you will find the K9 GSXR 1000 front sprocket is the same as the K8/9 busa now. They are 17T standard, so you can get one from a local bike dealer if thats the case. Might be worth checking out first.
