in nsw we cannot have nice plates because it costs a motza.

Keep them on as long as you can Rod. The Qld plates are an absolute rip off. Typical when a private company takes over.
Your plates in Vic cost around $400 to $500 each. The same plate in Qld is $2500. Theives...........
