Removing scatches from windsheild - [UNIT] - 29-08-2009 Hi my STD windsheild has a few slight scratches on it.. Will a light cut and polish help remove them? I've tried normal polish with almost no result. Cheers RE: Removing scatches from windsheild - MaldonCsalt - 29-08-2009 I read a article in APC about laptop screen scratch removal there are dedicated polishes for it I imagine something like that would do the trick far less abrasive than something designed for paint etc RE: Removing scatches from windsheild - ohdear - 29-08-2009 Plexus ............. RE: Removing scatches from windsheild - BLACKZOOK - 29-08-2009 I have heard that toothpaste and elbow grease does wonders, never tried it tho. It removes scratches from CDs and DVDs so it probably will work on a bike windscreen. I have never tried it though. Sure Unit, please let us know how it goes. RE: Removing scatches from windsheild - BLACKZOOK - 29-08-2009 It might be scratched but will have the ring of confidence ![]() RE: Removing scatches from windsheild - bazooka - 30-08-2009 I use a product called T-cut scratch remover - comes in a red tube and i bought it from autobarn. Lightly rub the scratches and they will dissapear. cheers baz ![]() RE: Removing scatches from windsheild - Ruffy - 30-08-2009 Meguires have a specific plastic polish which always works well on screens ![]() Cheers Ruffy RE: Removing scatches from windsheild - [UNIT] - 30-08-2009 The toothpaste worked but I didn't have time to get them right out. When I've got a couple of hours spare I'm pretty sure it'll work wonders. RE: Removing scatches from windsheild - CeeJay07 - 30-08-2009 This might be a good opportunity to replace it with a tinted double bubble. ![]() |
