Removing scatches from windsheild - [UNIT] - 29-08-2009

Hi

my STD windsheild has a few slight scratches on it..
Will a light cut and polish help remove them?
I've tried normal polish with almost no result.

Cheers

I read a article in APC about laptop screen scratch removal there are dedicated polishes for it I imagine something like that would do the trick far less abrasive than something designed for paint etc

Toothpaste is a mild polish with fluoride in it.
It removes scratches from CDs and DVDs so it probably will work on a bike windscreen.
I have never tried it though.
Sure Unit, please let us know how it goes.

The toothpaste worked but I didn't have time to get them
right out. When I've got a couple of hours spare I'm pretty sure it'll work wonders.

This might be a good opportunity to replace it with a tinted double bubble.Pi_thumbsup
