sidecars are sooo old school - Ward P - 19-08-2009

Nowadays, a motorcycle sidecar might not arouse the same ecstasy as it used to bikes in early days, but the latest vehicle by Francois Knorreck is a sidecar with difference that gives an entirely new definition to the sidecars. Dubbed “Snaefell,” the 1000cc Laverda motorcycle has three exhausts, and its sidecar offers a luxury ride in comparison to regular sidecars. The designer has employed different parts of a Kawasaki 1000RX and a number of cars to accomplish the motorcycle sidecar, which took 10 years and nearly 15,000 Euros to combine biking and luxury car ride in a single vehicle.

Looks like a ogre has eaten and partly digested a ferrari and a motorbike. Then regurgitated the contents of his stomach.

I once rode or rather "drove" a Honda CB750 with chair. Not good......throttle on..it went right...throttle off it went left........bit of a rigging problem there Embarassed

My brother has an Ariel 600 sidevalve with Dusting sidecar......flat out at 110k's Lol3

Saw a brilliant accident with a sidecar once. some pommie thing. About 7 people spewed out as it high sided on a corner, flipped and rolled. I was following.
Luckily they were all pissed - driver included, so no damage done - except to the bike and sidecar. All crawled back in and took off, sidecar twisted at a weird angle and dragging metal and sparks everywhere.
Very funnyLol3

To this day have never been in or driven anything with a sidecar. It's been burnt into my brain!!

Only sidecar I've ever been in & ridden was a racing sidecar, but I don't think they count in this thread. Lol3
